Glastonbury Tor

The most famous Somerset landmark, Glastonbury Tor is surrounded by myths and stories. Considered by many to be the Isle of Avalon from Arthurian legends, the Tor can be seen from across the county and is well worth a visit.

Somerset Levels

Teeming with wildlife and scenic views, the Somerset Levels are wetlands that stretch from the Blackdown Hills all the way to the Mendips hills. Follow the River Parrett Trail and explore all across the wetlands.

Ham Hill Country Park

Viewable from Thorney, Ham Hill Country Park has absolutely glorious views across the Somerset levels. With its lush pub and plenty of nature to explore, Ham Hill makes for a great day trip.

You can easily reach Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole for a day’s trip. Other Somerset parks within an hours drive, all include the Blackdown HillsQuantocks and Exmoor National Park.
